Yet another child was left in a hot car to be rescued by police and passersby. This time the 2-year-old was in Hackensack, N.J. Fortunately, the police rescued the child in time, so she only required hospital care. Think how hot it was outside July 30, (in the 90's) and picture yourself locked in a car with no way to get out of the heat while someone did their shopping. Do not leave children or pets in cars in the heat. Studies have proven that cracked windows do not help. Take them inside with you or leave them home. You will save yourself the heartache!
