A spouter from Avalon was totally correct in his opinion of the dog controversy. I am local, and in the off season I step over dog feces left on the sidewalk, the grass and the street. You can't blame that on the summer visitors! Dogs are animals and not humans. They do not have rights to frequent the beach 24/7 nor should they be there at the height of the day's heat. People, use your common sense and stop wasting the council's time on dog rights. There are too many other important things to do.
