Wildlife-like possums, raccoons, skunks and even snakes abound in rural areas. They seek out food and locations to den. If you are not charmed by their presence, you can easily discourage them by sealing potential areas of interest like under a shed or porch after you are sure no animal is inside. Invest in garbage cans that cannot be opened easily and keep them closed. Feeding birds will attract other life interested in the dropped seeds. Remove pet food dishes immediately after they finish eating and seal your pet door in the evening.
