I recently became handicapped due to a knee replacement, and the city offers aid to people like myself, from the police department, to the EMTs, to the public works dept. One person from the public works dept. comes around and checks to see if my trash is out; 99.9 percent of the time it's already out, but he checks. Let's keep in mind all these departments are backed by our great Mayor Ernie Troiano.
