I was going to put my efforts toward fighting the new dog ordinance, but when two snarling, overweight, beastly labs nearly dragged a grown man in a beach chair across the sand toward me and my small dog, I was really scared. The man and his female companion laughed. It's not a laughing matter that you cannot control your dogs. I should have called the police but I know they have more to do than ticket you for your ignorance. I can't imagine the fear I would have felt if I had been with my grandchildren. Perhaps we should ban dogs from the beach 24/7 in July and August.
