There have been lots of pro and con spouts about dogs lately; dogs on the bay beach, dog parks, and dogs on the seawall. There have been dogs at the Jersey shore since the Lenni Lenape were the only tourists. People have to stop anthropromorphizing their dogs and understand that you can love and enjoy an animal without inflicting it on people who don't like or just don't care about dogs. Dogs may be beloved pets but they are still just animals.
