It's amazing how about six years ago Wildwood Catholic was going to close, and now it manages to recruit students. As I watch the summer league basketball teams play and look at the bench, I wonder when it no longer was Wildwood Catholic, but Wildwood basketball. I can almost bank on that more than 75 percent of the team doesn't actually believe in what Wildwood Catholic should stand for. It's sad to realize that basketball is more important than religion.
