The rec. advisory board's five-year plan goal is to build an indoor swimming pool within Lower Township. If the residents want an indoor swimming pool, I believe the ideal location would be right next to the recreation center on the unnecessary and underutilized playground. The MUA property nearby also provides a playground. Two playgrounds so close is unnecessary. Secondly, it would be cheaper and safer to have the pool attached to the main rec. facility, then to build a free-standing pool somewhere else. Parking is great. Makes sense.
