A recent spout states that evil will occur with or without guns, citing the possible use of bombs. In other words, because people might use bombs to kill and maim, there's no point in trying to reduce or stop the bloody carnage of gun violence. If that argument makes any sense, then the reverse would make as much sense; since people use guns to commit violence there's no point in trying to stop people from using pipe bombs or improvised bombs, such as those used at the Boston Marathon, to kill people. Clearly that mentality is utterly nonsensical, as well as morally indefensible.
