Early bird dinners are cheap for the reason you are getting half the portion of the regular meal and paying less than half the price. My 76-year-old mother has eaten dinner early all our lives. We can't believe what we hear some people say when we go out. We don't order early bird specials, we are just early eaters. Those poor servers get beat up by those cheap early birders. They complain about their puny portion; next time put your big boy/girl panties on and eat a regular dinner so you won't have to complain and we won't have to listen to it!
