How is it that Middle Township has money to give raises to personnel in town hall and the King Center but not to the hard-working personnel in public works who work under all types of weather conditions and are paid a starting wage of $20,120? That wage is from the early 60s and the committee thinks nothing of bypassing those hard-working employees to give to those who already make a decent salary. Shame on the committee and town hall for shunning those who rightfully deserve to be paid a salary that fits the 21st century.
