I have my own well for water. I do not receive nor want to receive city water, but the Lower Township MUA charges me for it. When I called, the usual, rude staff answered and told me that it's mandatory and if we did not pay the water bill they would shut our sewer service off, as they've done before. Does this not sound like extortion to anyone? How can you make a $2,000 service mandatory when I don't have two pennies to rub together?
