The Avalon spouter ranting against later start times for high schoolers apparently disregards all the research showing older students have different biological sleep needs, and they are more alert and productive later in the morning. Since many high schoolers drive to school, they are safer when they are more alert. This bill does not in any sense encourage sloth, but safety and productivity.
