Middle Township needs to install permanent terrapin barriers along North Wildwood Blvd. The concrete median makes the road a death trap for terrapins and increases the risk of accidents caused by drivers trying to avoid terrapins. Put concrete barriers on the shoulders to prevent terrapins from being able to enter the road. Securing sheet metal to guard rail posts that is flush with the road surface would eliminate terrapin deaths.
