I live near the beach and see animal control often on the beach, but unless you have police and lifeguards stationed on the beach, like Wildwood, there is no way to prevent people from letting their dogs run loose. It seems there are so many police officers on the payroll, why not have them patrolling for a few weeks with animal control and see how effective that would be? I see less dogs on the beach now than in past seasons, so things have improved.
