The parking situation in town was horrible over Memorial Day weekend. Forget about building the new library and make that area a parking lot. There is just not enough parking to accommodate the visitors and locals for the shopping district. Looking for a space for almost 30 minutes is ridiculous. It's bad enough you have to pay a meter, unlike Avalon, but almost impossible to find an open spot. It's only going to get worse in July and August.
