The Avalon anti-gun spouter is in a rut. We already have fine gun control laws. We also have lots of other good laws which the criminals disobey. What many citizens and the NRA oppose are gun control laws that would take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. It is not that hard a concept to grasp. Guns might facilitate violence but do not cause it. Strictly enforce all current laws but do not disarm the good guys. It is illogical. Many of us are not afraid to defend ourselves.
