Public access to beaches does not require a one-size-fits-all approach. The environment should dictate best use. Surfers go to the Atlantic side, boaters go to the harbor, those who require amenities go to Cape May, birders go to the Point and families go to the Bay. Rules should reflect the individual beaches. After all, who goes to a pizza parlor and expects to order a dumpling?
