The spouter who was so quick to dismiss a previous spout calling for the U.S. to step up and accept some of those Mediterranean refugees must not remember how over 100,000 refugees came here after the fall of Vietnam, and were resettled in southern California. Who else has the resources and diversity to make such a good, humanitarian gesture?
