It's once again obvious that the public works, police dept. and fire dept. have a concerted effort to vote in Spout Off. It's not their money, as none of them live in town and they have a collective campaign to lobby a new building. They use the slight-of-hand trick with council and mayor by stressing safety. It's a load of baloney and everyone knows it. They do the same thing with new fire trucks and ambulances. They sit at council meetings grinning from ear to ear. The fix is in. A $5 million police station will happen no matter what.
