I am a strong proponent of the death penalty. Once someone has been executed, it is guaranteed they never commit another crime, in or out of prison, but Islamic extremists consider themselves martyrs, and their greatest joy is to go to Heaven, having died killing lots of infidels. There is no doubt that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is a committed Muslim extremist and dying for Jihad would be his ultimate satisfaction. This is one murderer who needs to live a long and miserable life in the super-max federal prison in Florence, Colo., where he can never hurt anyone again.
