The West Wildwood spouter who wants America to get back to hard work, must not realize how hard most people do work, but have a lot less to show for it. My parents paid off their ten-room house in a beautiful neighborhood in the 60s in just three years, and now it takes two incomes to have a modest home with a 30-year mortgage, plus school loans. I don't wish a life of hard work for my children and grandchildren, but a happy, easy one.
