After attending the commissioner's meeting Wednesday night, Feb. 18, I had to ask myself why the retired officer attempted to make such waves? I thought he was retired, or is there something else we don't know? I figured when I retired I was grateful and happy to survive 25 years in my job. I was confused in the attendance, which is usually small. Was there supposed to be some fireworks? It appeared he has sour grapes over something and by the sounds of it he should be lucky he retired with his pension and benefits. Some people just don't know when to ride off in the sunset and not look back.
