It seems like one Stone Harbor spouter was brave enough to mention a decidedly unpopular, but highly intelligent opinion on the new police station location: Consolidate with Avalon. The citizens of both towns would see an immediate improvement in services and substantial financial savings. The same goes for the library "folly" that has been going on for eight years now. The recently published remark that the delay is "the way politics works" is disheartening and disingenuous. Two governments on one seven mile island is impractical.
