Parents need to begin to monitor their children's social media and texting. I recently learned that a few of my daughter's classes are pretty much a party every day, with kids pretty much doing whatever they want. I've seen the videos to prove it via a very popular chat application on my daughter's phone. These teachers are not only bringing in big dollars, but the kids are failing standardized tests, and getting to college unprepared, and it's becoming apparent why. I've already taken steps to curtail my daughter's inattentiveness, now it's time for teachers to do their part.
