As a taxpayer of Wildwood Crest, I hope the borough is addressing the lack of drainage, and thus the flooding, with the contractors, consultant, engineers, etc., of the newly designed playground and tennis court on Washington and New Jersey Avenues. After a heavy rain, the playground is unusable for days. It never had this issue. Now, with the cold weather, the standing water is freezing, which is a liability for the borough. The money to redesign these facilities eventually comes from the taxpayer, and we expect the project to be done correctly.
