I was appalled reading the spout about the ferocious dog attack by an unleashed dog on an innocent leashed pet walking with its owner. This is a direct result of ongoing failure to enforce borough ordinances. It is becoming a policing trend to ignore minor violations, only to discover that it sets the pattern for more serious offenses. Are local officers directed to look the other way by superiors?
