The planets must have been in perfect alignment Dec. 19 between noon and 2 p.m. because while I traveled to my weekly shopping centers, everyone surrounding me on the roads was driving in a thoughtful, patient and safe manner. It was almost heaven. No one tailgated or passed on the right and cut me off, and everyone stayed a safe distance behind the other car. It was such a pleasure. I admit this was before the weekend arrivals, but I want to believe that everyone caught the spirit of the season. I'm dreaming of road courtesy all year long!
