There is often a police car sitting in the lot of the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption of the BVM in Wildwood Crest. They sit there, both during the day and at night, many times for an hour or more, with their headlights out and engine running. At first, it put my mind at ease to know there was a police presence nearby. Now, I feel like I am under surveillance. Are they trying to keep people from going into church? This is alarming.
