Thanks to the members of the American Legion Post 331 for the wonderful open house in honor of the greatest generation, our World World II veterans. Listening to their stories on land, by ship and in the air over 70 years ago as young men away from home, had me in tears. They were so moving and proud to tell their stories. A gift of a 100 percent paid trip home and back to the base in Cape May for two Coast Guard families over Christmas is so generous. What a great group of veterans, working veterans and active duty military personnel. Thanks for including and honoring my dad.
