The spout about affluent pet owners spending money on their dogs was right on target, as many resort areas in the nation have already discovered, particularly in upscale towns in Calif. Motel owners here would be wise to advertise that they are pet friendly, and provide extra rooms and designated areas for use by pet owners. Times have changed and we must get on board.
