Chief DePaul retired, he did not resign. Capt. Mayer retired, he did not resign. Lt. McGrath is performing an admirable job, all facts considered. The men and women of the department have been dealt a bad hand. When the smoke clears and the facts are stated, the general public will be shocked at what went on "behind the curtain" and "who" was "working the controls." The department will be fine because there are good officers waiting to step up like they have been doing.
