I enjoyed the Upper Twp. superintendent's response to absences. We need to let him know this area "is frequently misunderstood by our families" because he sent out a letter in the beginning of the year letting us know that he said all other absences were unexcused. He didn't say that "internally, we ourselves consider these types of absences excused" for our civil pride and/or family commitments. Why was a warning letter sent to all Upper parents when its real intent was for a few parents?
