I am saddened by the uproar of such racism in CMC. It seems as though some people associate low-income with minorities and minorities with problems. To some, these low-income houses that are being built will be a blessing because everybody can't afford overpriced apartments or homes. These will give people the opportunity to grow, save and better themselves. As a 26-year-old Hispanic mother of two who attends college, this is a true blessing for my family and I. I will not "pollute" your community, sell drugs or cause violence. Please stop looking down on people not as fortunate you.
