When will our "questionable" leaders realize that replenishing beaches is non-productive. Sand put on beaches from offshore areas quickly leaves during every Nor'eastor and ends up either in Wildwood or inside our inlets. I don't like my tax dollars being used to protect homes that should have never been built on beach fronts. If this has to be continued, why can't the sand come from our inlets, making our inlets safer for boat travel and improving the flushing of our barrier islands?
