It is time to implement changes on the Route 109 bridge in Lower Township. This bridge is a danger to pedestrians. The sidewalk is always in disrepair and one feels they are taking their lives into their hands with the debris and speeding cars. The pathway is not designed or constructed properly, leaving the state potentially liable in the event of an accident. A Jersey barrier and a proper sidewalk, not a haphazard application of asphalt, makes prudent sense to all residents and visitors. The more we can do to promote walking, results in a more accessible and healthier society.
