Over the past year, we have discussed how the public needs to be more informed of the happenings in town. For example, the bay sidewalk and the school tax. So many knew about it last minute. Some still don't even know about the school tax and the vote took place Nov. 4. Another spouter mentions a new ferry exit. What is that all about? Hearing about this through spout off is proof of lack of 'effective' communication. My hard earned money going to taxes deserves better communication. How about an electronic newsletter, or is there one that I don't know about?
