It is understandable why the Seaville spouter is confused about the hotel controversy in Avalon, but I am sure that he/she would not like a hotel built right next to their house, or have the traffic and parking ten times higher on their street. Avalon is not like the Wildwoods or Ocean City, with hodgepodge zoning and mid-rise buildings next to ranchers and cape cods. For years now, the crowded nature of Avalon and it's limited hotel and commercial areas have been why people move there, or visit there. The hotel idea is no good for anyone except the developer.
