It was recently found in a poll that 93 percent of New Jersey voters want Governor Christie to sign S998, a bill that’s on his desk to prevent cruelty to farm animals. Our state’s family farmers, veterinarians and animal shelters have come together to ensure that pigs are allowed to turn around. On factory farms, they’re prevented from even doing that basic movement while confined in small cages. Governor Christie should stand with the people in his state and show that animal cruelty won’t be tolerated.
