Before every election, Democrats try to scare seniors by telling them the Republicans will take their social security away, but it's the Democrats who keep hurting SS. Pres. Johnson put it in the general fund to pay for his welfare programs. Carter gave it to immigrants who never put a dime into the system. Clinton started taxing it, and you can no longer take your contributions as a tax credit. Democrats keep taking away from ones who worked to give to the "I don't want to work crowd." Look at Phila., ruled by Democrats for 60+ years. How's that working out?
