To the spouters who think the military option should be discouraged for high school students: I graduated from a local high school, went to a four year college, graduated with a high GPA and immediately got a full-time job. I also have $45,000 in college debt. My fiance enlisted out of high school, served overseas, has a full-time civilian job and still serves in the military. He has no debt. We both took very different paths with different versions of success. Do not discourage serving this country. Be thankful and support our troops. You owe them your freedom.
