Middle Township taxpayers should no longer have to pay for school sports. Our taxes could be a lot lower. We do have an obligation to fund academics, but that's it. Let the parents that want the sports pay for it themselves. Sports should be separate from schools anyway, like private clubs. Middle Township schools are deprived of supplies, books, technology, etc,. while our taxes are going to fund an excessive number of sports and paid coaches. We need board members who will look out for the taxpayers and cut sports expenses.
