Two pedestrians have died as a result of being run down by bicycles while walking in New York's Central Park. A 59-year-old mother and wife died this week. A male pedestrian died two months ago. When are our local police going to demand that the laws be enforced concerning bicycles? Riding a bike does not give you the freedom to kill people with impunity, or does it? Cape May County has a real problem in this area. I hope our police will help us all be safer by treating this seriously and cracking down on bicyclists who ignore traffic laws.
