In response to a recent spout and related comments about school lunches: Parents are responsible for feeding their own children. The fact that schools have food, either for sale or provided free at taxpayer expense, should be considered a convenience, not a right. I am tired of my tax money paying to feed the children of people who are financially able to do so themselves. I support charitable groups that feed the hungry and homeless, but it seems like my tax money goes to feed those with a sense of entitlement. A brown bag and some PB&J has worked for generations.
