As a taxpayer, I am all about saving money. However, I find it funny that residents hear a piece of information and spin it into a gossip column with little to no validity. The teachers and teacher's aides who assist our local K-12 educators in the classroom are each used in various methods; as specialized support in a given subject area, to assist with special needs students with one on ones, or to abide by a legal IEP requirement based on NJ law. I would like to thank those staffers who educate our school's 40 percent economically disadvantaged and nearly as many special ed. children.
