It's shameful that Sam Kelly, who has no platform to run on, is spreading lies about affordable housing to scare voters. Residents should check out the facts. Only 16 units of the 160, in both Rio Grande and Court House, are set aside for very low income. All are one bedroom. At most, you're talking about 32 people in very low income units, out of a population of 20,000. Per the 2010 census, there are about 1,200 residents of Middle who would qualify by income. If you think these folks aren't already here, you're kidding yourself.
