The Supreme Court's decision that corporations are people is perverse, a blatant violation of democratic values, and it raises a number of questions. If corporations are people, do they now have to give up tax breaks that have been enacted solely for the benefit of corporations, tax breaks that are not available to "people?" Can corporations now vote in elections and run for office?
