The community of Avalon appreciates the 46 years of service and friendship given by the Paper Peddler, one of the last remaining bookstores and news agencies in the Cape May County area. Begun by a former owner of the Herald, Jane Pearson Cunningham, in 1968, its doors close permanently Sept. 28. We wish the Cunningham family well.
