Stone Harbor

The intersection of Third Ave. and 83rd St. in Stone Harbor continues to be a dangerous site for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers. This intersection is very similar, with regard to commercial and residential properties, to the area at 107th and Third Ave., and is in dire need of the type of signage that is currently in place at the latter intersection. The crosswalks should be painted with crosshatch marks and a "Stop for Pedestrian" sign should be placed in the crosswalks to improve the safety of this heavily traveled area.
