Regarding the noise from the rec. center: Our house was built in 1953, well before the new rec. center was constructed. We love the fireworks and events that go on, but we certainly do not appreciate the blaring music from the exercise classes, several times a week, early in the morning. The new rec. center should have been designed to include an indoor exercise area where the noise can be as loud as desired. The sound carries for blocks around. Some of us choose to have our windows open to enjoy the fresh air. We did not decide to move near the rec. center, we were there first.
